Your finger lights the dawn,

You pour Your light upon

Every rock and every tree,

Until we feel You in all things

Rays of heaven through the clouds

Lift our eyes up from the ground

Its through Your light we see

You're a lamp unto our feet

Light giver, we thank You for Your light

We feel You in our lives

Light giver, in the lightning and the stars

The flame inside our hearts

The fires blaze the sunset hue

The burning sun and silver moon

Light giver, all light testifies of You

A million torches in the sky

Watch over us each night

You shine upon the sea

Your light stretches endlessly

You give all things a chance to grow
