Back to School Cooking
To celebrate my favorite time of year {Fall!} I'd like to share a recipe with you. This is my recipe for Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies. Enjoy!
- First of all, it's imperative that you make these during an extremely busy day. It's even better if you are making said cookies for the neighbors, visiting teachers, or a sick child. Pressure is good.
- Next, make the dough of your favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. Any will do. After scooping out the dough into little balls, place in the oven and set the oven timer for 2 minutes LESS than the required baking time.
- When the timer goes off, check the cookies. They should look like they need about 2 more minutes. Perfect. At this point set your MENTAL timer for 2 minutes.
Read your daughter 2 books. Your 11 month old son will be hungry, so make him a bottle. He'll also need his diaper changed. Change his diaper. He's now ready for a nap, so take him in his room and put him to bed. - The phone will ring at this point. Answer the phone and proceed to talk for about 3 minutes. After your phone conversation it will be time for your daughter's nap. Read her another book in bed, and snug her for another 3 minutes.
- Your mental timer should now kick in. Run to the kitchen, yank open the oven, and pull out your concoction.
That's it! Your final product should look like this-
Yummm! Give them a try, it's a no-fail recipe. :)
